New Design! Crochet Tutu Onesies

The first onesie I did was the one on the bottom and it is listed in my etsy shop. It was so cute on her, that I decided to do another one. It is for my Beau Monde Boutique Group Pirate Ship Launch on eBay. You can probably tell, though, that she has already grown out of the size I have, lol. They grow so fast! Eva is 30" tall now at 10 mo. (off the charts), and 22lbs. I get a definite work out when I keep her, lol.
But I just wanted to share what I've been working on. I do have a few new fingerless glove ideas in the works and hope to have them finished soon.

New pattern! What a weekend!

Finally got a new pattern listed. This one is my Biker Chic Crochet Fingerless Gloves design. It's a play on the color scheme of the famous "Bike" we all know and love - well some of us do. This one is for the ladies, although I can make a pair for the little "Biker Chic" in your life. And if you'd like me to make a pair for you, I can do that as well.

I hope everyone's weekend and Memorial Day were good one's. I had all intentions of getting lots of work done this weekend and helping my daughter catch-up with schoolwork. But alas the dreaded migraine spoiled everything. It wasn't a totally disabling one, but enough to knock me out of commission for quite awhile. I still feel the remnants of it, so I'm taking it easy today.

I had a new pattern in progress for my little granddaughter to model. That was put on hold. I had pictures to edit. Also on hold. And I was going to finish sorting my patterns and designs and rearrange my living room. On hold. After fixing dinner for hubby and my daughter (which consisted of heated frozen entree's), I headed for the sofa with package of crackers, a glass of water, and eventually a cup of strong coffee (a last resort when nothing else helps and I don't want to take anymore medication).

I finally ended up sleeping it off, most of it anyway. So today I will try and motivate myself to get a few of my tasks accomplished. Wish me luck and I hope your weekend was better than mine. :)

Babysitting Day!

I look forward to the weekends with my new granddaughter, Eva Grace. She is the most beautiful baby in the world, and even though I'm most assuredly biased, I'm sure you will agree as you can see.
She is just about 7 months old and her momma tells me she weighs a little over 19lbs. and is at 90% on the chart for her weight and off the chart for her height.
I knew that she was a big baby because by Sunday I am always so tired from carrying her around, I'm ready for mom and daddy to come and pick her up. I have noticed a benefit though, because I have lost a little weight from my weekend baby lifting workout!
Eva is the sweetest little baby, with the brightest smile. Can you tell? Everyone who sees her, falls in love with her instantly. She's captured our hearts and we love our time with her, from grandpoppi and grandmom to auntie Nasee!
Eva is my new model for Pinkie Jane Designs, so you can watch her grow up as she models my designs! I was so happy when we found out she was a girl, although I would have been just as happy if she had been a boy. (Boys are so cute!) I probably would have changed to Little Boy Blue Designs...LOL!
Stay tuned! As I find the time to sew some of the numerous designs in my file. I'm sure you will love them, just as much as enjoy bringing them to you.

First Post! An Introduction...

When I first heard of blogging, it was from my youngest daughter, who by the way is 13. She was a few years younger, and although I have been using computers and have been on the internet since before she was born, I still found myself asking her how to do things. I have taught her a few things, but she has still surpassed me in many ways at least when it comes to making my way around a computer. My patience is not what it used to be...

This blog is mainly a place to let you know what I have in store for my Boutique Accessory line as well as a place to share a little about myself and my family. I have become quite adept at multi-tasking and as a result I usually have several things happening at once, and hopefully I can accomplish at least a few of them successfully.

In my profile, I shared that I am a sahm and caregiver. I also maintain two online shops where I sell my children's boutique crochet accessories, mostly crochet fingerless gloves. On any given day, I am either filling orders, or writing patterns, updating my shops, taking photos, and always coming up with new designs. I recently decided to try my hand at ebooks. Right now they will be a way to publish my crochet patterns.

I have wanted to write ebooks for many years, just could never figure out what to write. Well actually I take that back; I never thought I could write anything interesting enough that anyone would want to read. I know of course that if "I write it, they will read it" attitude is probably not the case, but I do realize that there are at least a few who may be interested in my little ventures. And they may even find them interesting enough to come back and possibly even helpful.

So with that said, welcome to Pinkie Jane's. Grab a cup of tea, (my favorite at the moment is green tea), relax in your favorite chair (I guess I can say that because I have a laptop) and enjoy my day to day musings as I continue to develop my designs. Crochet lovers especially will love this blog. You know who you are... It's extremely late, or should I say early and I can't wait to do a few more rows on my current project. I guess I should wait till morning, but then again.....
